About Viterbi Student Council

The Viterbi Student Council is made up of the Presidents and Vice Presidents of recognized Viterbi undergraduate engineering organizations.  The Council is led by the executive board: Chair, Vice Chair, Director of Communication, and Treasurer.  Elections will be held annually, during the month of March with open polls for 3 positions on the Executive Board: Chair, Vice Chair, and Director of Communication.

After the Chair, Vice Chair, and Director of Communication are elected, the incoming Viterbi Student Council will elect three members for the Funding Board in the spring semester.  One position is reserved for a Viterbi freshman, who will be elected in the beginning of the following Fall semester.  The VSC Executive Board appoints the Director of the Funding Board (who concurrently serves as Treasurer of VSC) from the elected Funding Board

The Viterbi Student Council has one standing committee - the Programming and Planning Committee (PPC).  The PPC is led by the Vice Chair of the Viterbi Student Council and is the lead team in coordinating school wide events for Viterbi undergrads such as Viterbi's Got Talent in the Fall semester and National Engineer’s Week in the Spring semester.
