The next election will be held in Fall 2009. The deadtime to submit "intent to run" forms to be determined.  

Current vacancy:
          1 AME senator
          1 ASTE senator
          1 ISE senator
          1 EE senator
          1 BME senator
          2 CS senator

Potential candidates are encouraged to come to biweekly board meeting during the summer, if possible.

General Rules
 

Open elections for VGSA officers are held in late spring semester. If positions are not filled, we continually hold Mid-term elections in academic year.
 
In election for Executive Board members priority is going to be given to the current VGSA board members, and if any executive board position are left vacant then the non-board members will be considered.
 
Candidates have the option to run for multiple positions but can only get elected for one.
